True Abundance

"True abundance is a combination of purpose, nature, and essence."-Ashmita Arora

Abundance. It’s a word that’s been twisted, commodified, and reduced to material gain. When you hear it, you might immediately think of wealth, and prosperity in terms of financial success. I believe those to be illusions. They’re fragments of a much larger truth, a deeper and far more profound understanding of what abundance really means. To chase after money or possessions in the name of abundance is to miss the point entirely. True abundance goes beyond the tangible. It’s a state of being, an inner alignment that transcends the superficial definitions society offers.

Purpose is a word that’s often misunderstood. When most people think of purpose, they associate it with something they must find or strive to accomplish some grand mission or career that gives meaning to their life. This, however, is a narrow view of what purpose truly is. Purpose isn’t about what you do; it’s about who you are. It’s the simple yet profound realization that you are here to be. That’s it! You don’t need to achieve some external goal to fulfill your purpose. Your very existence is your purpose….

When you let go of the idea that purpose is something you must find, you release yourself from the endless cycle of striving. Purpose becomes not about doing, but about being. It’s the deep understanding that you were brought into existence by the universe itself, and that your very presence fulfills your role in this life. This shifts the focus from a frantic search for meaning to a peaceful acceptance of your innate worth.

The opportunities, connections, and experiences that resonate with your true self and will begin to align with you, because the universe responds to this state of authenticity. Abundance, in this sense, is the natural byproduct of living fully in your purpose knowing that you are here to be, and that in itself is more than enough.

If purpose is the knowing that you are here to be, nature is the recognition that you are here to experience. You are not separate from the natural world, but a vital part of it. Your nature is the flow of life moving through you, the connection to all living things. To live in oneness with your nature is to understand that life is meant to be experienced in its fullness.

However, in today’s society, we’ve been conditioned to resist our own nature. We’ve been taught that abundance requires hard work, constant striving, and a relentless pursuit of success or even more bizarre that it’s reserved for a special sum. The era of hustle mentally is nearing the end and good riddance, because this couldn’t be further from the truth. When you align with your nature, abundance becomes effortless. You no longer need to fight against the grain and force outcomes. You simply flow with the experiences presented to you, knowing that everything is unfolding as it should.

This understanding is liberating. It removes the pressure to constantly strive or push yourself to the point of exhaustion. When you allow yourself to be fully present in your nature, abundance becomes an effortless flow that enriches every aspect of your life.

If purpose is the knowing that you are here to be, and nature is the recognition that you are here to experience, essence is the way you choose to engage with life. Essence is your unique frequency, the flavor of who you are, the energy that defines how you move through the world. It’s the zest, the spark that fuels your choices, your desires, and your approach to life. Essence is what makes you…you.

While purpose and nature are more universal truths, essence is deeply personal. It’s your unique expression of life, the way your soul chooses to interact with the world. Essence is the conscious awareness of how you wish to experience life on your own terms. It’s not about conforming to external standards of living according to someone else’s expectations. It’s about expressing your true self, your deepest desires, and your most authentic way of being.

Your essence shapes how you experience abundance in a physical form. For one person, abundance might look like the freedom to travel the world and explore new cultures. For another, it might be the comfort of a stable home and deep rooted relationships. Essence allows you to define and assign meaning to abundance in a way that feels true to who you are, without needing validation or approval from others.

When you are in tune with your essence, you stop comparing your life to others. You stop chasing standard external markers of success or abundance, and instead, you live fully in alignment with what feels true to you. Essence is the key to living an abundant life on your terms. It’s the understanding that you are not here to fit into someone else’s mold, but to create a life that resonates with your deepest truth. Every choice you make, every action you take, is an expression of your essence. You are not passively receiving abundance; you are actively shaping it based on how you engage with the world. This is the beauty of essence, it empowers you to create a life rich with meaning, one that reflects your true self.

Living in this state of abundance brings freedom, the freedom to be who you truly are, the freedom to experience life fully, and the freedom to express your unique essence without fear or limitation. It’s the realization that abundance is not something you seek, but something you already possess. It’s the understanding that life itself is abundant, and that by aligning with your purpose, nature, and essence, you open yourself to the infinite flow of possibilities that the universe has to offer.

I want to share a deeper truth, ultimately, abundance is not about receiving; it’s about giving. The more you align with your purpose, the more you tap into your nature, the more you connect with your essence, the more you have to give. And as you give, you receive. It’s a cycle, a flow of energy that moves through you, from the universe to you, and back out into the world. This is the secret to abundance. It’s not something you capture and hold onto; it’s something you share as it needs to flow. The more you give, the more you receive, because abundance is infinite. It cannot be depleted, only expanded.
