"You are in a state of being, having a human experience."-Ashmita Arora
What if the very foundation of your reality, the way you define yourself, the way you experience life, is nothing more than an illusion? You’ve been led to believe that you are a human being with a soul, living a finite life with a beginning and an end, success and failure, joy and pain. What if I told you that everything you know about yourself is only the smallest of fragments in regard to what you truly are? You are not a human with a soul. You are infinite and eternal, choosing….yes, choosing to experience life through the lens that reflects limitation.
The profound truth is that you are not your body, not your thoughts or emotions, and absolutely not the circumstances that define your human life. What you are is a consciousness, merely bearing witness. Being itself is not something to be achieved nor to be cultivated as you are, by nature, pure existence, undivided and whole. The human experience, with all its challenges, pulls you away from that truth. The illusion of a physical world with societal mental constructs, and the dictation of emotional turbulence within your own heart can make you believe you are something far smaller than that of which you are.
Your infinite self has entered a realm of profound limitation to experience all that lies in all the depth and contrast of forgetting. Stepping into the confines of human life is not a prison as some may feel it to be, but a game, only the most brave choose to play. In this game you do forget your infinite self until piece by piece and moment by moment you make your way back to profound moments that raise your awareness to the light you hold.
The game is so real, so immersive, that you forget you’re playing. You forget that this is just a temporary scenario, a set of circumstances you designed to challenge yourself, to see how far you can go while believing you're small, powerless, or disconnected from your true self.
But why? Why would a being of infinite power, wisdom, and light choose to experience limitation? Only in the contrast of limitation can the fullness of your being be revealed. In the realms of pure light, where everything is known, there is no challenge, no growth. You exist in a state of completion, evolution without a need ceases to exist. The human experience allows you to enter a state of forgetfulness so you can play the most thrilling memory game imaginable.
You see, suffering itself becomes a doorway to deeper awareness. The pain you feel in your human life isn’t here to punish you. It’s here to break open the barriers of your mind, to force you into the kind of introspection that leads to true revelation. In your moments of greatest suffering, you are actually closest to awakening. Why? Because suffering dissolves the illusion of control, the illusion that your identity is tied to your human success or failure. When everything falls apart, when your ego can no longer hold onto its stories of who you are, what remains?
You remain….
The real you, the you that exists beyond the confines of the physical. The you that knows life to be a temporary expression of an eternal journey. The human experience is not about success or failure. It’s about awakening to the realization that none of these things define you. They are layers you wear, experiences you have, nothing more. They are not your true essence.
This realization is the key to freedom. Most people spend their entire lives chasing success. Some are desperate to build a sense of identity based on what they do, what they achieve, and how they are perceived by others. True freedom is realizing that nothing outside of you can ever define who you are. You are already whole. You are already complete. And this completeness is not tied to anything you can accomplish in the human world.
The moment you realize this, the game shifts. The human experience becomes something entirely different. It becomes less about achieving and more about experiencing. You stop trying to “fix” yourself or the world around you. Suffering although still unpleasant shifts focus to finding the lesson it is trying to expose. Challenges become opportunities for expansion, not punishments. You become the observer, the one who watches the experience unfold but is no longer entangled in it. You begin to play with life rather than be at its mercy.
There was never anything to fix. You were never broken. The human experience didn’t happen to you. You chose it. You chose to forget so that you could reawaken to the truth that you are divine.
You begin to live from a place of limitlessness, even while inhabiting a limited form. You remember that you are here to experience not be bound by the human world. You are both human and infinite, both physical and spiritual. The duality collapses, and you begin to merge with your higher self, the part of you that never forgot who you were.
To be in a state of being is to live in the awareness that you are both the creator and the creation. You are the one experiencing life, but you are also the one creating the experience. Every moment of your life is a reflection of your soul evolving back to wholeness. You are consciously creating this experience from the infinite well of your true self.
Step out of the game and into your true power.
Remember.
